Thanking Dr. Jane Goodall

 I do not remember exactly when i heard about Dr. Jane Goodall. However , what i do remember is seeing a picture of a lady in the newspaper with some chimps - looking happy, content and comfortable. For the world, they were just wild beings, but for her they were family. I remember going to see Might Joe Young in cinema and wondering what a beautiful bond the lead actress shares with the Mountain Gorilla. My already strong love for nature and animals grew even stronger with this. Today finding out the news of the demise of Dr.Jane Goodall feels like a personal loss. One of us , one of the voices of animal in the wild , lost. But this was inevitable, I’m happy to be part of world where we shared the planet. She made all of us proud. She is a legend. I believe if you impact even one life , you have served your purpose. She fulfilled her life’s purpose. Creating a safer world for our animal friends. Now off you go Jane, to a world where all your animal friends are waiting to welcome you with biggest smiles and open arms.

50 Hours Long Train Journey

  Just this month I took my longest train journey ever. 50 hours in total. The journey was supposed to be 38 hours long but an extra 12 hours were added thanks to delay caused by Indian Railways. I tried to make most of this 50 hours sleeping, watching series , eating and overthinking. Only saving grace was coupe providing me with privacy. I got to see some beautiful sceneries on my way. But over all , it was a very long journey but definitely worth experiencing once in life.

When I picked up  Focus on What Matters , I wasn’t just looking for another book to pass the time. I was searching for clarity.
